Job Summary
To expand development and automation capabilities, the full-time Senior Applications Security Engineer will build, secure, and support AI-enabled solutions and automation tools while operating and maturing the Kubernetes environment in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains automation and self-service tools to reduce manual work for Security Defense Technologies
- Builds AI-enabled capabilities for the AI Ops initiative, including monitoring security tool health metrics and assisting engineers with troubleshooting
- Deploys and troubleshoots containerized workloads in the Kubernetes environment, ensuring operational efficiency and security
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
- 4 - 6 years of related experience in software development, automation, or security
- Hands-on experience with Python and building production automation, APIs, and integrations
- Practical experience developing AI/ML solutions and deploying workloads on Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and security or DevSecOps environments preferred
