Senior Applied AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a founding-stage team, the full-time Senior Applied AI Engineer will bridge the gap between consultants and engineers by transforming ambiguous business problems into actionable requirements, designing LLM-powered prototypes, and driving the adoption of AI solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify inefficiencies in client workflows and develop solutions to enhance productivity
- Translate vague business challenges into clear technical requirements for development
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement successful prototypes into production
Required qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering sufficient analysis
- Business acumen, including understanding financial metrics such as P&L and EBITDA
- Direct experience working with operational teams to effect change
- Proficiency in SQL and the ability to build functional solutions
- Experience in applied AI, including developing internal tools or automated workflows
