Senior Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on transforming machine learning research into production-ready features, including large language models and computer vision, while collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own computer vision and agentic AI problem domains, adapting architectures and training strategies for complex data
• Drive end-to-end design and execution of experiments, from framing questions to evaluating model performance
• Identify high-impact opportunities to enhance AI systems and make pragmatic trade-off decisions in collaboration with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in applied AI/ML with a proven track record of delivering models and systems
• Demonstrated experience as the lead AI expert on projects, from proof of concept to production
• Fluency with MLOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, deployment, and monitoring
• Strong experience in building agentic AI workflows and LLM-powered applications in production
• Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
