Senior Architect - Data Processing

Job Summary

To build the future of data processing, the full-time Senior Architect - Data Processing will define and improve hardware and software architectures for diverse data processing workloads, collaborating with various stakeholders and optimizing performance in a remote or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Co-design future architectures for NVIDIA's data processing platforms, focusing on performance, efficiency, and cost
• Engage with end users and partners to enhance their experience by integrating customer insights into roadmaps and reference architectures
• Drive full-stack performance optimization, collaborating with CPU, GPU, and platform architects to shape hardware features through workload analysis

Required qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in distributed data platforms, databases, systems engineering, or performance architecture
• Extensive knowledge in data processing systems, accelerated computing, or large-scale performance analysis
• Experience evaluating system-level trade-offs across diverse workloads
• Ability to translate complex system analysis into actionable recommendations for various stakeholders
