Senior Architect, Semantic Systems
Job Summary
To build the semantic and computational foundation for next-generation enterprise software, the remote Senior Architect, Semantic Systems will design typed enterprise representations, develop domain-specific languages and compiler systems, and implement formal verification mechanisms in a hands-on, individual-contributor role.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evolve a strongly typed, logical intermediate representation of enterprise concepts and relationships
- Create domain-specific languages and compiler systems to compile semantic definitions into executable platform capabilities
- Build specification, static analysis, and verification mechanisms to ensure semantic invariants and constraints are maintained
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of deep software engineering experience with a proven record in advanced enterprise software platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Deep experience in DSL design, programming language toolchains, compiler construction, and formal specification
- Strong background in theoretical computer science and mathematics, including type theory and algorithms
- Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and separate reusable core semantics from implementation details
