Job Summary
Maximizing the operational and financial performance of a regional portfolio, the full-time Senior Asset Manager, Texas Licensed, will oversee utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hybrid BESS + Solar assets, focusing on compliance, financial forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall financial performance (P&L) of assigned BESS and Solar + BESS operating assets, including revenue optimization and expense management
- Develop and manage annual asset budgets and long-term financial forecasts, incorporating market dynamics and operational improvements
- Partner with Operations and Performance Engineering to monitor and enhance asset performance using data systems and historical operational data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in asset management or a related field with utility-scale renewable energy or energy storage projects
- Experience with ISO/RTO market participation and regulatory compliance
- Strong project finance knowledge, including understanding of debt covenants and investor reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and the Microsoft Office suite
