Senior Associate Data Scientist
Job Summary
To support the Cell Starting Material - Process Sciences group, the contract Senior Associate Data Scientist will work remotely to contribute to the characterization of cell starting material and develop cell isolation technologies, applying advanced statistical tools and ensuring high-quality documentation for process characterization activities.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of characterization studies using Quality by Design principles
- Apply advanced statistical tools to large data sets to enhance understanding of raw materials and products
- Support clinical scale non-GMP manufacturing operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for CAR T manufacturing processes
Required qualifications
- BS/MS in Molecular & Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field with emphasis on data science
- At least 2 years of experience with an MS or 5 years with a BS in relevant fields
- Foundational understanding of mammalian or primary cell culture, biochemistry, and immunology
- Experience with Quality by Design methodologies and statistical modeling in biologics or cell therapy
- Familiarity with multivariate data analysis and statistical software such as JMP, R-Studio, or Python
