Job Summary
To support the development of transformational therapeutics in neuroscience, the full-time Senior Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology will perform in vivo pharmacology studies, including dosing and tissue processing in mice, while coordinating activities with team members and contract research organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo pharmacology studies, including in-life dosing and tissue collection
- Perform and support stereotaxic surgery in mice
- Analyze pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic readouts using various molecular biology techniques
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years or Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive mouse handling experience, including dosing routes and tissue collection
- Proficiency in standard molecular biology or biochemical assays
- Background in mouse genetics and/or neuroanatomy
- Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery
