Seeking a full-time Senior Associate Scientist - Neuroscience to design and execute hypothesis-driven studies, develop advanced human iPSC-based models, and implement mechanistic assays for neurodegenerative disease research in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute studies to investigate novel therapeutic targets in neurodegenerative diseases
- Develop and apply human iPSC-based models and disease-relevant assays to evaluate target biology
- Establish causal relationships between target modulation and disease mechanisms using various approaches
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Degree in neuroscience, biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline
- Experience in developing cellular assays for target validation and pharmacological characterization
- Hands-on experience with human iPSC-derived neural models
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive experiments and present findings to multidisciplinary teams
