Job Summary
To support Department of Veterans Affairs technology modernization initiatives, the full-time Senior Atlassian Solution Architect will design secure and scalable enterprise Atlassian Cloud environments, focusing on solution architecture, cloud migration strategy, and technical leadership while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define target-state Atlassian Commercial Cloud organization and site architecture, governance standards, and configuration patterns
- Lead current-state assessments and develop migration strategies for transitioning from Data Center and GovCloud to Commercial Cloud
- Oversee technical proof-of-concept activities and manage architectural risk while ensuring compliance with security standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in enterprise application architecture, Atlassian engineering, or platform modernization
- Atlassian ACP-120 Jira Administration for Cloud certification and demonstrated leadership in Data Center-to-Cloud migration
- Hands-on knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration, SSO, permissions, and integrations
- Ability to design secure solutions in regulated or large-enterprise settings
