Job Summary

Leading the production of the HBR IdeaCast during a temporary maternity leave assignment, the part-time Senior Audio Producer will manage end-to-end podcast production, including guest booking, content development, and collaboration with various teams to enhance audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full production process of HBR IdeaCast episodes, from guest identification to publication
• Collaborate with editorial and on-air talent to create engaging, research-backed conversations for senior leaders
• Manage the editorial calendar and production workflow to ensure timely delivery of high-quality episodes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience producing consumer-facing podcasts with comprehensive production workflow knowledge
• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify relevant topics and compelling guests
• Experience collaborating with hosts, editors, and various teams to produce high-quality programming
• Understanding of current podcasting trends, including audience growth and multimedia formats
• Proficiency with audio production tools such as Adobe Audition, Descript, and SquadCast is preferred
