Senior Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the quality and performance of web-based applications, the full-time Senior Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated test frameworks, perform API and database testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Create and optimize automated test cases for web applications, including regression and end-to-end test suites
- Perform API testing and validate backend integrations through database testing and SQL query execution
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing or quality engineering
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks using Java
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and API automation tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and integrity checks across relational databases
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
