Job Summary
Owning the Managed Services tooling ecosystem, the full-time Senior Tooling and Automation Engineer will design and maintain integrations between platforms, manage Jira Service Management configurations, and serve as the senior escalation point for tooling failures, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between platforms using APIs, webhooks, and AI-assisted development tools
- Own Jira Service Management configuration, including workflows, request types, and automations
- Identify and tune alerting cycles to ensure only actionable alerts reach the team
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted coding tools to produce working, maintainable code
- Hands-on experience building integrations using REST APIs and webhooks
- Scripting and development capability in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Experience administering Jira Service Management or a comparable ITSM platform
- Solid understanding of ITIL and change management frameworks
