Job Summary
Leading the integration and deployment of automated fulfillment solutions, the full-time Senior Automation Engineer will manage the installation and optimization of systems in new Distribution Centers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the installation, configuration, testing, validation, and commissioning of automated fulfillment systems
- Collaborate with the Automation Implementation Manager and external vendors to ensure successful automation implementation
- Conduct system validation and testing to ensure automation solutions meet performance criteria and operational requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and distribution, with at least 5 years working with automation systems
- Proven experience in the deployment and commissioning of automated fulfillment solutions
- In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including hardware and software integration
- Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs, and SCADA systems
