Senior Automation Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to serve as a technical thought leader and SME for their public cloud ecosystem, supporting the design and implementation of cloud solutions, recommending optimization methods, and leading collaboration within technical communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex public cloud-based enterprise IT solutions
- Develop application refactoring and re-platforming designs for public cloud
- Lead solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations to clients' senior leadership and technical teams
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of IT experience, 3+ years of public cloud experience, and 2+ years of Kubernetes experience
- Multiple certifications such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate, Terraform Associate
- Hands-on experience with public cloud core services, IaC tools, and deployment services
- Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, PowerShell, or any other language
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native application design principles and infrastructure automation
