Job Summary
To support a growing commercial organization, the contract Senior AWS and Azure Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective environments while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on AWS and Azure, supporting migration and integration efforts
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines to automate processes and reduce manual effort
- Implement monitoring and security measures, optimize cloud spend, and collaborate with commercial stakeholders to deliver effective cloud solutions
Required Qualifications
- Senior experience in engineering and operating production workloads on AWS and intermediate skills in Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines and automation using scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Familiarity with cloud services for data, analytics, and AI workloads on AWS and Azure
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in distributed teams
