Senior AWS Cloud Architect
Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end migration of VMware-based datacenter workloads to AWS, the full-time Senior AWS Cloud Architect will define cloud architecture, migration strategies, and governance standards while providing technical leadership and collaboration with stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure and application discovery, assessing migration readiness and analyzing dependencies for AWS migration
- Define target AWS architecture and develop migration roadmaps, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
- Provide technical leadership for VMware workload migration and oversee modernization initiatives, resolving complex migration challenges
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in cloud architecture and migration
- Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, and Lambda
- Experience with migration tools such as Matilda and AWS Discovery
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Familiarity with AI-driven automation and migration strategies
