Senior AWS Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS, the full-time Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will focus on lift-and-shift migration, implementing content delivery and secure file transfer processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute the migration of on-premises servers, applications, and workloads to AWS
- Design and implement content delivery using Amazon CloudFront and storage architecture with Amazon S3
- Containerize legacy applications with Docker and manage secure file transfer workflows using AWS Transfer Family
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Amazon CloudFront and designing CloudFront distributions
- Experience in designing S3 bucket architecture and managing AWS Transfer Family endpoints
- Proven ability to lead or contribute to on-premises to AWS migration projects
- Hands-on experience containerizing applications with Docker
- Understanding of migration assessment, wave planning, and cutover execution
