Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer for a fully remote, long-term contract role, the successful candidate will manage security engineering and controls, implement AWS security measures, and support incident response while collaborating with various technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and endpoint environments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support endpoint security technologies, including CrowdStrike
• Collaborate with CISO and security leadership to enhance the organization's Information Security program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with IAM, PAM, MFA, RBAC, and AWS security
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and endpoint security technologies
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF and SOC 2
