Senior AWS Connect Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical health and enhancement of the Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA), the full-time Senior AWS Connect Engineer will design, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect capabilities while troubleshooting production issues and developing integrations, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, routing logic, and associated configurations for the IVA
- Develop integrations between Amazon Connect, the IVA, and enterprise systems using AWS Lambda and APIs
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement engineering practices for change management and documentation
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software, cloud, or platform engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Amazon Connect solutions
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Amazon Connect contact flows and integrations
- Strong programming skills in languages used for serverless development, such as Node/Javascript
- Working knowledge of AWS services including IAM, CloudWatch, and secure cloud engineering practices
- Experience with conversational AI technologies, including Amazon Lex or similar platforms
