Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To build, operate, and secure the AWS environment for a leading premium dating platform, the full-time Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer will focus on extending Terraform modules, designing disaster recovery plans, and enhancing security measures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Extend the Terraform module library and design VPC architecture for secure and consistent account setups
- Design and implement cross-region disaster recovery strategies, including establishing RPO and RTO targets
- Develop and maintain security protocols, including IAM policies and automated remediation processes
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of experience building and operating production AWS infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, including module design and versioning in a team environment
- Experience with AWS Organizations or Control Tower, including SCPs and cross-account IAM
- Deep understanding of IAM policies, trust-policy design, and least privilege practices
- Production experience with containers on ECS or Kubernetes and managed relational databases
