Senior Azure Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design of Azure platforms, the full-time Senior Azure Architect will manage landing zones, networking, identity, resilience, and governance for healthcare data products in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design for Azure platforms, contributing to target-state architecture and ensuring adherence to Azure standards
- Design for resilience by recommending availability and recovery targets, and regularly testing multi-region disaster recovery patterns
- Collaborate with Information Security to meet regulatory requirements while managing cloud costs and implementing observability practices
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering, with at least 5 years designing Azure environments at enterprise scale
- Experience in leading Azure landing zone or platform design in production, preferably in a regulated industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in Azure architecture, networking, and infrastructure as code (Terraform required)
