Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the organization's Microsoft Azure platform and hybrid connectivity, the full-time Senior Azure Cloud and Network Engineer will architect, administer, and optimize Azure infrastructure while ensuring compliance and cost governance in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and administer Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and identity using Terraform or Bicep
- Design, administer, and troubleshoot Azure networking and hybrid connectivity, including VNets, Firewalls, and VPN Gateways
- Lead reliability engineering efforts, including incident response, observability, and cloud cost governance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, network engineering, or DevOps, with at least 5 years in Microsoft Azure
- Proven ownership of a production Azure environment, including design, implementation, and security
- Deep expertise with core Azure services such as VNets, App Gateway, and SQL
- Advanced networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and hybrid-cloud connectivity
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and scripting in PowerShell or Python
