Senior Azure Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the security of cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Azure Security Engineer will serve as the primary technical owner for Azure platform security controls and infrastructure operations, ensuring a secure, reliable, and compliant technology environment while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain platform reliability and disaster recovery for critical services, ensuring 99.9% availability
• Design and strengthen cloud security controls, including identity management, access reviews, and network segmentation
• Develop infrastructure as code practices to automate and manage cloud resources effectively

Required Qualifications

• Seven or more years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or security engineering, particularly with Azure
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and cloud security operations
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Security Engineer Associate or Cybersecurity Architect Expert, are preferred
