Senior Azure Technical Architect
Job Summary
Acting as the technical owner of the Azure platform, the full-time Senior Azure Technical Architect will oversee Azure subscriptions, validate infrastructure against architecture requirements, and improve disaster recovery and monitoring while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee Azure subscriptions, landing zones, networking, compute, databases, and Microsoft 365 tenant configuration
- Validate deployed infrastructure against documented architecture and security requirements, ensuring compliance and security controls
- Assess and improve disaster recovery processes, including recovery units, backups, and multi-region design
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including platform engineering and security configuration
- Experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations in business-critical production environments
- Knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, Azure RBAC, and identity governance across connected platforms
- Practical experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for service-health monitoring
- Proficiency in Terraform, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and PowerShell scripting
