Job Summary
To support enterprise healthcare operations and workforce decisioning, the fully remote Senior Back-End Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using TypeScript and Node.js, focusing on building APIs, integrations, and data services.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable back-end services and REST APIs to ensure reliable communication between platform components and external systems
- Develop integrations with enterprise systems and implement robust integration patterns to ensure data consistency and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while taking ownership of services throughout their lifecycle
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience building production back-end services using TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience in contract-first API development with a strong understanding of REST APIs and API versioning
- Proven experience with enterprise system integrations, including knowledge of idempotency and data reconciliation
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and cloud services, particularly Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Regular implementation of unit, integration, and contract testing in the development process
