Senior Backend Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Backend Developer will design, build, secure, and maintain enterprise Java services and APIs, focusing on transfer agency and fixed income processing platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Java and Spring-based services for transfer registration, shareholder records, and corporate action workflows
- Design and maintain REST APIs, service orchestration, and ensure transactional integrity across high-volume processing workflows
- Implement secure authentication and authorization practices aligned with FedRAMP High expectations
Required qualifications
- Eight or more years of enterprise backend development experience
- Strong expertise with Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, Hibernate, and stored procedures
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
- Proficiency with JasperReports, Quartz, and secure SDLC practices
