Senior Backend Developer
Job Summary
To support the digital transformation efforts, the full-time Senior Backend Developer will design, implement, and maintain high-volume applications while contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain applications that prioritize high performance and low latency
- Analyze user requirements to define business objectives and propose infrastructure changes
- Develop technical designs, write testable code, and conduct software analysis and debugging
Required qualifications
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of overall engineering experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience with cloud development
- Ability to design complex systems and act as a tech lead for projects
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as Test Driven Development and Clean Code
