Senior Backend Developer
Job Summary
To support the Campaigns team, the remote Senior Backend Developer will design and implement core systems for marketers to create and schedule multi-channel campaigns, ensuring scalability and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build campaign workflows for multi-channel messaging
- Own the systems for campaign authoring and content assembly, ensuring accurate targeting and delivery
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining system reliability and monitoring campaign delivery
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with large distributed systems that are fault tolerant and highly concurrent
- Strong foundation in modern backend development, particularly with Python
- Experience with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization, specifically PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with cloud providers and modern distributed technologies, such as Kubernetes and Kafka
