Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

To support the design and development of enterprise mission applications for federal customers, the full-time Senior Backend Developer will lead the architecture, modernization, and delivery of cloud-enabled .NET applications and services in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure successful delivery of sprint commitments
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services, including containerized architectures and CI/CD automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications
• Extensive experience with Microsoft development technologies, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience in cloud-native application development within AWS environments and modern architecture principles
• Experience applying Agile Scrum methodologies and supporting Agile ceremonies and sprint execution
