Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of blockchain scalability solutions, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will work remotely on core infrastructure for Arbitrum, tackle complex distributed systems challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Work on the core infrastructure powering Arbitrum, the leading Ethereum scaling solution
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Drive the technical roadmap for complex distributed systems and data modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience
- 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Architect focused on blockchain-based backend systems
- 3 years of experience developing backend systems using programming languages such as Go or Rust
- 3 years of experience building distributed systems and working with blockchain protocols
- 1 year of experience with WebAssembly and cloud infrastructure technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
