Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the ClickPipes platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will build and evolve integrations with streaming platforms and object storage while driving architectural decisions to enhance system scalability and resilience in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and evolve integrations with streaming platforms and object storage, including Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, S3, GCS, and Azure Blob Storage
- Continuously improve systems based on operational metrics, customer feedback, and evolving business requirements
- Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions affecting platform scalability and resilience
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience building and operating distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of Go and its ecosystem
- Experience designing systems for scalability and fault tolerance
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture with practical experience in at least one major cloud provider
- Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in distributed systems
