Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the scalability of the NodeZero platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will lead the development of backend APIs, build integration platforms, and ensure production reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend APIs in GraphQL, focusing on schema evolution and multi-account query scoping
- Build and extend the Integration Router for reusable authentication and workflow execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer experiences and mentor junior engineers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript)
- Experience building production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes
- Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and graph database architectures
- Hands-on experience building GraphQL backends and designing public API platforms
