Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support high-impact projects in a high-growth environment, the full-time Staff Engineer will shape the technical direction of Core Backend, build shared services, and lead the design of backend capabilities while working remotely from Kazakhstan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the technical direction and roadmap of Core Backend, developing shared services and developer tools
- Identify common challenges and create reusable solutions to enhance developer productivity and system reliability
- Drive complex initiatives from discovery through implementation, coordinating with engineers and teams
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and expertise in distributed, high-load systems
- Proven ownership of complex initiatives, including architecture and technology decisions
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
- Strong English proficiency and a proactive approach to problem-solving
