Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a passionate and nimble Senior Backend Engineer specializing in NodeJS, this full-time remote position will involve collaborating closely with the CTO to design and implement innovative features such as marketing optimization engines and billing reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, release, and maintain a modern API layer to enhance product functionality
- Architect services using well-accepted patterns to ensure scalability and autonomous development
- Implement and manage event-driven microservice architecture within the Google Cloud ecosystem
Required qualifications
- Strong coding skills in NodeJS, including experience with eslint, unit testing, and end-to-end tests
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, with a preference for Kotlin
- Experience with designing and implementing software solutions in a startup environment
- Familiarity with behavioral economics principles as they relate to product development
- Understanding of best practices in microservices architecture and cloud computing
