Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing customer base, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will focus on backend engineering work that emphasizes scalability, performance, and reliability while owning complex projects from planning to deployment in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform backend engineering tasks to enhance system scalability and reliability
• Manage large, complex projects from initial planning through to deployment
• Collaborate with product and customer teams to ensure alignment between engineering and business needs

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in backend engineering with a focus on building scalable, high-performance systems
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
• Experience taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring high-quality project outcomes
• Capability to guide and unblock other engineers through code reviews and architectural feedback
• Previous experience in high-growth startups or small teams is advantageous
