Job Summary
To support a growing financial platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems, integrate AI-powered features, and ensure operational reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for processing financial transactions across multiple countries
- Integrate AI tools and APIs into backend services to enhance product features and capabilities
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and incident response
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with production systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language: Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and event-driven backend systems
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies
