Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will manage backend platform areas, including API integrations with third-party vendors, while working remotely to enhance user access and product functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions and lead engineering efforts
- Design and implement reliable systems within a micro-services architecture
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors and develop RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional engineering experience
- Proficient in backend languages, particularly Go/Golang
- Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and message queuing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
