Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning core backend services for institutional clients, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will manage onboarding, provisioning, and access controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own backend services that facilitate institutional client onboarding from application to first trade
• Drive automation of onboarding processes, including automated screening and risk scoring
• Lead the design and implementation of the Organizations Service for managing institutional client data

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture
• Production experience with Go (or similar), gRPC/Protobuf, relational data stores, and observability tooling
• Demonstrated practice of writing well-tested, production-grade code with high test coverage
• Experience in regulated domains such as identity, access control, or financial onboarding
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining oversight for business outputs
