Job Summary
Owning backend services for institutional clients, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will drive onboarding automation, manage client data, and shape access controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own backend services that facilitate institutional clients' onboarding from application to first trade
- Drive automation for onboarding processes, including screening and risk scoring
- Lead the design and implementation of client data management services and access control systems
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture
- Production experience with Go (or similar languages), gRPC/Protobuf, and relational data stores
- Proven track record of writing well-tested, production-grade code with high test coverage
- Experience in regulated domains such as identity, access control, or financial onboarding
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency and quality
