Senior Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Spacetime team, the remote Senior Backend Software Engineer will design and build distributed systems for 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and Direct-to-Cell services, utilizing C++, Golang, and Java while collaborating with solution architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Spacetime platform using C++, Golang, Java, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers
- Build scalable, distributed systems on Kubernetes and design features for NTN orchestration
- Translate 3GPP and O-RAN specifications into clean, well-tested software in collaboration with architects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Professional experience in C++, Golang, and/or Java
- Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Experience building and operating distributed systems
- Familiarity with wireless communications or satellite communications
