Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a core architect of the vCluster Platform, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on Kubernetes internals, writing high-performance Go code, and managing feature development from design to release.

Key responsibilities

• Work intimately with Kubernetes internals to enhance container orchestration capabilities
• Write and maintain efficient, resilient Go code for the core logic of the vCluster platform
• Engage with the open-source community and contribute to projects that define next-generation tenancy models

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, including architectural patterns, networking, and storage
• Strong programming skills in Go, with the ability to translate Kubernetes knowledge into clean code
• Demonstrated passion for building through active GitHub projects or open-source contributions
• Experience in high-growth environments, comfortable with ambiguity and autonomous problem-solving
• Startup experience, particularly in early-stage organizations where independent functioning is essential
