Job Summary
Designing and building backend features for Confluence Cloud AI Automation and Search, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment while ensuring the performance and scalability of backend services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship backend features in a scalable, distributed environment
- Develop and implement performant RESTful microservices and manage database technologies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and review code for best practices in reliability and performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Four years of experience in designing and shipping backend features and scalable microservices
- Experience with RDBMS technologies and NoSQL databases
- Two years of experience with modern object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or C++
- Familiarity with public cloud services including AWS, GAE, and Azure
