Job Summary
To lead critical infrastructure projects, the contract Senior BAS Design Engineer will work remotely, leveraging over 8 years of BAS controls design experience with major platforms like ALC, JCI, and Honeywell, while performing technical reviews and collaborating with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical reviews of BAS vendor and integrator submittals, ensuring compliance with design standards
- Validate controls hardware and network communication protocols across various platforms
- Develop and maintain design standards, specifications, and complete BAS submittal packages
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of BAS controls design experience with proven expertise in producing complete design packages
- In-depth technical experience with major BAS manufacturer platforms such as ALC, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell
- Ability to operate independently at a senior level and set technical direction
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
