Senior Benefits Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Benefits Analyst working remotely, the candidate will serve as a subject matter expert by delivering advanced analytics that inform strategic decisions across health benefits programs, leading complex analyses, and building predictive models.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead complex data analyses and build predictive and statistical models to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
• Integrate data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Lead high-impact analytics initiatives that influence benefits strategy through data-driven storytelling

Required qualifications

• A minimum of six years of analytical work experience, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with three years of experience
• Strong understanding of business processes in healthcare, insurance, or employee benefits
• Experience developing and maintaining complex SQL queries and analytical programs (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and automation, along with experience creating executive-level reports
• Proven ability to analyze trends in utilization, cost, and program outcomes using large datasets
