Senior Benefits Manager

Job Summary

Owning the strategy and delivery of health, wellness, and financial benefits programs, the full-time Senior Benefits Manager will design, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance for a distributed workforce in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the benefits strategy, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness offerings, while recommending data-backed changes
• Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment cycle, including plan design, funding modeling, and carrier negotiations
• Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure service levels and employee experience standards are met

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive benefits experience with ownership of renewals and vendor management in a high-growth environment
• Deep knowledge of US benefits regulations such as ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA
• Experience with benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems like Workday or Rippling
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of improving cost and employee outcomes
• Ability to analyze plan data and provide clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
