Job Summary
Supporting approximately 1,000 employees in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Benefits Specialist will manage health and welfare plans, oversee HRIS administration, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining data integrity and vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment processes
- Serve as primary HRIS administrator, maintaining data integrity and generating reports
- Prepare compliance documentation and track regulatory changes affecting benefits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on benefits administration experience in a multi-state environment
- 3+ years of HRIS administration experience in a cloud HCM platform
- Working familiarity with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA requirements
- Strong Excel skills and experience supporting an open enrollment cycle end to end
