Senior BI Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance decision-making and performance, the full-time Senior BI Engineer will design and develop data visualization tools, manage data retrieval processes, and implement business analytics practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop user-facing data visualization tools, including Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports
- Perform complex data analysis and support internal/external data requests using advanced SQL and Excel
- Implement AI-assisted engineering techniques and ensure compliance with enterprise policies for data handling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in BI/Data Warehouse domain with a focus on developing BI solutions
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report building and DAX
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
