Senior BI Modeler
Job Summary
To support enterprise-level analytics, the contract Senior BI Modeler will design, develop, and optimize semantic models and business intelligence solutions, working in a hybrid environment in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify new data solution opportunities
- Design and optimize scalable semantic models in partnership with data engineers and analysts to support reporting and analytics
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data assets
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI data models in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse
- Experience with Lakehouse and Warehouse concepts, including data integration and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with data governance, quality, and certification processes
