Senior Blockchain Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Blockchain Engineer will take new blockchain infrastructure and product ideas from concept to production, collaborating with various teams to identify developer problems and prototype solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and define developer or infrastructure problems that could lead to new blockchain capabilities or products
- Prototype solutions across blockchain clients, RPC, indexing, transaction infrastructure, backend services, or smart contracts based on defined experiments
- Participate in production support and incident response, ensuring operational documentation and monitoring are in place for systems launched
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in transforming ambiguous engineering problems into working prototypes and production delivery
- Deep hands-on knowledge of at least one blockchain, including its execution model and transaction lifecycle
- Strong software engineering skills with experience in building backend or distributed systems
- Ability to read unfamiliar code and specifications, forming testable hypotheses for experiments
- Experience in designing reproducible performance benchmarks and analyzing system bottlenecks
